New librarians

Rosenblatt & Pereira. Photographed by A. Gutierrez

This Fall we welcomed two awesome new librarians to our amazing library team. Paula Pereira and Stephanie Rosenblatt came to Cerritos College with many years of experience in community college and university libraries and even more enthusiasm. They both love working here at Cerritos College and will often be found at the reference desk helping students find and use the best sources for their coursework. Paula and Stephanie also teach orientations, workshops, and our one-unit Library 100 course. In addition, they each select print and electronic resources for our collection in their areas of specialization: Paula in ESL, Literature, and Spanish Language and Stephanie in Health, Medicine, and Children’s Literature. And, as if that’s not enough to keep them busy, Paula and Stephanie each coordinate an area of  our library services.  Paula is the Circulation and Reserve Coordinator and Stephanie coordinates the Electronic Resources and Serials. It’s a good thing they have boundless energy!

Next time you’re in the library, stop by and introduce yourself to Paula and Stephanie. They would love to meet you!
